Allow me to introduce myself and my family in starting our new adventure with blogging. My name is Samantha and my husband is Trace. We have 6 kids and are currently trying to conceive baby #7. Our intention for our blog is to share our family life along with our values and perceptions of parenthood and marriage. Join us as we share our secrets to a successful relationship and experience life with us as we go along. 

My husband and I met when we were 15 years old in our local High School in East Texas. Though we were on separate paths at the time, we eventually found our way back to each other in our 30’s. We were married in 2022 and have a “yours,mine,ours” family, but it feels like just ours. 

We have kids ranging in age from 2 years old to 14 years old. With our oldest who started high school this year and our youngest who is in her terrible 2’s and transitioning from co-sleeping to her own toddler bed we have a lot going on in our house. Never a dull moment with the Andrews crew!

Why now?

Blogging is something I have been interested in for a while. I have researched it several times. My husband has always been interested in more of a vlog venture as he definitely has the personality for it! But as you can imagine life is pretty busy with 6 kids and 2 full time jobs, so when I was recently let go of my job of 8 years for basically no reason at all, I knew it was time for a change. Time to finally take control of my own life again. I mean why would I invest another 5 to 10 years into another business that is not my own only to be potentially cut loose and all the while not have the time with my family that I desire. So here we are, starting a brand new adventure and looking forward to sharing it with all of you. 

 What is to come…

Our content is really focused on family, and home with some of our personal lifestyle thrown in. As I mentioned earlier we have a 2 year old that is transitioning to a toddler bed after 2 years of co-sleeping.  I will be keeping track of the process to share with all of you how we manage it for our home and maybe it will be helpful for a few others in the same boat as us. We look forward to opening up our family to you all!
